History
As TOUSDA enters its 20th year in business, we thought we would take a moment to reflect on our history as well as look towards a future that is brighter than I ever could have imagined when first starting out on this journey.
Honestly, where did 20 years go?
It seems like just yesterday.
TOUSDA started on 28th November 2000, offering high-quality rehabilitation therapy products and highly tailored services.
Such as manual wheelchairs, electric wheelchairs, commode wheelchairs, cerebral palsy wheelchairs, commode chairs, bath chairs, rollators, walking aids and other rehabilitation devices.
TOUSDA covers an area of 117,000 square meters and owns the industry’s top R&D team, class manufacturing processes, professional quality management capacity, high-quality after-sales service team, and builds the quality management system by the European CE & MDR, American FDA & 510K, ECM & NQA, TUV & SGS & BV, ISO9001, EN ISO13485:2012/AC:2012, EN ISO13485:2016.
TOUSDA makes products that empower users to become their best selves.
Individuality and independence of the people who use our wheelchairs will always be our No.1 concern.
With more than 18 years of export experience (very popular globally, such as the USA, Canada, Japan, Korea, Spain, Germany, Malaysia, Thailand, Czech, Turkey, Hongkong, Taiwan, etc.).
We can guarantee the high quality and excellent price, always devoting itself to providing comfortable, convenient, and safe recovery products for the socially vulnerable group to solve their sufferings and make their lives more beautiful and wonderful.
“Build with Precision, Win with Quality, Treat with Sincerity” is TOUSDA business principle and strives to provide consumers with first-class products services.
And today, we are proud to announce that we have been established for 20 years, a momentous milestone and the ideal opportunity to celebrate our significant growth in the Medical Rehabilitation Therapy Supplies Industry over the past two decades.
Nowadays
As we reflect on how we got here, clearly, hard work, determination and a little bit of luck were involved.
However, we think far more of our good fortune can be attributed to a fastidious commitment to our core values: A passion for excellence, unrivaled commitment to our customers, respect for one another, we do the right thing we ask why not.
Our work ethic has always been driven by our core values of expertise, clarity, confidence, integrity and energy.
Our results-driven approach remains unchanged twenty years on, alongside our culture of honesty and fairness.
Throughout our history, we don’t think we always understood these to be our values, but certainly, we’ve come to realize these are at our foundation and guide everything we do over the last several years.
We hold ourselves to the highest standard possible and, as a result, have been rewarded with strong, long-standing relationships with our client partners, as well as tenured employees, many of who have been with us almost from the beginning.
All businesses are not without hardship and difficult times, and we are certainly no exception. We’ve survived because of those core values.
We were able to ask clients to move projects forward, so we had a little bit of work for our teams and asked employees to trust us and work with the promise of pay.
Without those core values and the trust of our clients and employees, we don’t believe we would have been able to not only survive but thrive.
Future
Looking back on where we started and where the wheelchairs industry is today, is quite astonishing as back then, we could only dream of producing a wheelchair for those who need this that the disabled could instantly use directly without any obstacles.
And now there are so many amazing, critically acclaimed wheelchairs coming out that it’s hard to keep up with the influx of launches, much less use them all.
However, our continuing goal remains in maintaining our standards and developing unique, world-class wheelchairs for our users while still providing a great workplace that supports our team in developing professionally and living full personal lives.
We also recognize that this work is never-ending, as demands for creating top-quality wheelchairs are getting ever higher, and the bar is raised every year.
As we celebrate and enjoy this milestone in our company’s history, we are also looking forward to the next chapter in our evolution.
With the rapid pace at which technology advances today’s environment, we are laser-focused on partnering with clients and vendors to bring the very best solutions to the market.
We understand that what was progressive even five years ago is no longer relevant, and we must work hard to innovate and bring forward new ways of doing business for the benefit of our clients, our employees, and our communities.
Each year has been its own exciting journey, we are proud to say we have grown as a company with no shortcuts in the process, and the 20-year milestone clearly demonstrates this.
We need to communicate our extensive best quality and marketing capabilities through our brand and the quality of work we deliver to our clients.
We’re ultimately all about moving forward, and I’m excited for what the future holds!
Conversation with General Manager
In recognition of this momentous occasion, we’ve interviewed general manager Sven Chow to find out more about TOUSDA’s past, present, and future and find out the benefits of working with family.

Q: What is TOUSDA’s company vision?
Sven: To provide best-in-breed rehabilitation equipment solutions and services.
We want to stand out from medical industry companies and ensure the customer always comes first.
Q: What challenges has TOUSDA experienced, and how did it successfully overcome them?
Sven: Building the wheelchairs itself is very challenging.
It’s hard to work with a lot of time dedicated to the process.
Once the wheelchair has been developed, you have the challenge of ensuring it is a success and received well by customers and the industry.
We were fortunate to build an extremely competent team of developers and support staff from the very start to ensure each solution was optimized before launching to the market.
This was also made possible by working closely with potential clients who helped us understand the issues being faced in the industry so we could meet market needs with our solutions.
This was key to our product development and still is today.
Q: What are TOUSDA’s most notable accomplishments over the years?
Sven: The success of our products, building a successful team and our loyal client following, but the more important thing is thanks for each end-user to choose us and trust us.
Q: What are some of your fondest memories of the past 10 years?
Sven: Seeing the company grow beyond our expectations and an idea flourish from a blank sheet of paper to a fully developed product that ultimately delivers what our clients want.
Q: What are the benefits of working with family, and what have been the biggest challenges?
Sven: The biggest challenge was sorting out our individual roles, so we were not both trying to do the same thing.
Fortunately, our strengths and weaknesses complement each other, and it has worked out well.
Another challenge we face is that outsiders sometimes view the company as a family business, whereas the reality is far from it.
We have a growing skilled and dedicated team who all contribute to the success of the company.
Q: What’s for TOUSDA in the next 10 years?
Sven: Our focus will be on our commitment to providing excellent products and first-class service as we continue to grow.
Therefore we will be continuing to build our product portfolio, team and client base as well as moving into other territories in conjunction with strategic partners.
Q: And lastly, what one piece of advice would you give for those who are starting to work together?
Sven: Everyone will warn you not to, but if you get on and feel you can work together, then go for it.
If you have a good idea, get on and do it!
